Political events over-run Games (0:53am AEST)20/9/98 The Commonwealth Games have been eclipsed by tumultous political events in Malaysia, with the country's leading Opposition figure, Anwar Ibrahim, arrested following a huge anti-Government demonstration in Kuala Lumpur. Australia Officials have told/order all Aussie athletes to remain in doors. A quick survey of the town at 11.15 pm show signs of congestion and traffic jam around the capital city.
