Foreign athletes, officials and media personnel for the Commonwealth Games can look forward to a hassle-free entry at the KL International Airport in Sepang. Support services committee chairman for the Games, Datuk Samsudin Osman, said yesterday that immigration and customs personnel at the airport had been told to give their best when attending to the foreign contingents.
Mixed doubles medal a possibility Malaysia have never won a medal in Commonwealth Games mixed doubles badminton. But national skipper Cheah Soon Kit thinks that there will be one for Malaysia in KL '98.

Against Australia, Malaysia drew their first test 2-2 and went down fighting 2-0 and 3-2 in the other two tests. Before the three tests against Australia, Malaysia lost 8-0 at the World Cup and 5-0 in the Azlan Shah Cup in March 1998.

On the other hand, Ong Ewe Hock who is the favourite for a single Gold but is seen to perform erratically usually when it counts the most. For example in the National GP Finals, he was beaten by Wong Choon Hann who was never expected to win at all. Hopefully this unexpected defeat will shake Ong up and be ready for the Games next month.
