Please note that if you agree to be a host, you alone will be responsible for all activities arising from this relationship. We are not responsible for the behaviour of the guest and by agreeing to this arrangement you will hold us harmless from any legal proceedings from you or any third parties. You are a volunteer for this purpose and have no relationship with us under the terms of this agreement. If you wish to withdraw your services, you will need to inform us 48 hours before the arrival of the guest. Once a guest has been identified, we will forward his/her particulars to you. You will then directly correspond with the guest and set any further arrangements that you might have. Please note: Legally speaking you should not be conducting a business for this purpose and while you are free to invite 'guests' to your home, the act of charging for this invitation can be construed as a 'business' and as such conducting one without a license. It is better to provide it free, while the guest will offer gifts or in exchange for something else. Most of the guests that we have spoken too, are more than willing to pay for a grand dinner on their last night with their host as 'payment'. Like l said before, this is entirely an volunteer effort and the experience and friendship we get is more than compensatory. l trust you see it the same way. Advice given here is not legal advice.
