How does Vixa.com's escrow service work?
Vixa's escrow service facilitates the sale of a domain name registration between two parties.  This service assists in the transfer of registrant for a domain name registration by holding the domain name registration undergoing the transfer until the buyer remits the sale price agreed upon between the buyer and seller to Vixa.com.  Once Vixa.com receives the buyer's payment, the domain name registration is transferred to the buyer, after which the seller of the domain name registration receives the buyer's payment from Vixa.com. All Money is kept separate in a different account opened under our company's account Ecorpnu Pty Ltd at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

If I choose to use Vixa.com's escrow service, how does it affect the Transfer of Registrant process?
Should you choose to use escrow services during the transfer of registrant for a domain name, the process will remain largely similar to that of a regular transfer of registrant.  However, a 3-day waiting period will begin when Vixa.com has received the buyer's payment and appropriate documentation from the parties, before the domain name is transferred to the buyer.  This waiting period provides either party a window to cancel the transaction, if necessary, for a fee.  This 3-day waiting period may be waived by the buyer and seller, in which case neither the buyer nor the seller will be able to cancel the transaction once Vixa.com has received the appropriate documentation from the parties and the funds from the buyer.

Does using Vixa.com's escrow service affect the timeline for a Transfer of Registrant?
Using Vixa.com's escrow service will affect the timeline for a Transfer of Registrant, due to a 3-day waiting period that begins after Vixa.com has received the buyer's payment and documentation from both parties.

The 3-day waiting period allows either party involved in the transaction to cancel the Transfer of Registrant process.  In the event that the transaction is canceled, funds are returned to the buyer.  A $75 cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card of the party who cancels.

If you wish, you can waive the 3-day waiting period when the transaction is initiated.  In this case, the Transfer of Registrant timeline should not be affected, unless problems arise concerning payment and documentation.
